In The Cool Kids episode “Funeral Crashers,” Hank (David Alan Grier) finds out his ex-wife Lorraine will be at a mutual friend’s funeral, so Margaret (Vicki Lawrence) volunteers to be his “hype man” and lie about his success to impress her. Charlie (Martin Mull) and Sid (Leslie Jordan) love a good funeral, so they crash it against Hank’s orders. At the funeral, Hank also meets his ex-wife’s new, handsome, younger and taller husband Reggie.
Hank’s ex-wife Lorraine is portrayed by Emmy Award-winning actress Jackée Harry, and her new husband Reggie is portrayed by NBA champion Rick Fox. Jackée is known for her roles on The Paynes (JoAnn Payne), The First Family (Paula), Everybody Hates Chris (Vanessa), Sister, Sister (Lisa Landry), 227 (Sandra Clark), and Another World (Lily Mason), among others.
Fox is known for his roles on Greenleaf (Darius Nash), Mr. Box Office (Andrew Thompson), and Oz (Jackson Vahue), among others. The Cool Kids airs Fridays at 8:30 pm on FOX, right after Last Man Standing and right before Hell’s Kitchen.
