Sarah Grace is one of the youngest artists who have made it to the Top 10 on Season 15 of The Voice. But you wouldn’t know it while listening to the 15-year-old from Houston, Texas — her maturity as an artist is arresting. Sarah Grace, on Team Kelly, prefers singing bluesy songs like Linda Ronstadt‘s “When Something Is Wrong with My Baby” which she performed during the Live Playoffs. For her Top 10 live performance, Sarah is singing the 18th century Christian hymn “Amazing Grace” but with a bluesy twist.
Sarah Grace’s version will remind some of the 1964 song “The House of the Rising Sun” by the British rock group The Animals. The song is an old classic folk ballad which has been recorded by many including Woody Guthrie in 1941; Bob Dylan in 1961, and Dolly Parton in 1981. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC.
