In the Hallmark movie Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa, professional retail designer Lisa (Jill Wagner) is home in Evergreen, Vermont for the holidays. When she sees that the small town’s general store has been closed, she does her best to bring it back to life. With the help of a handsome contractor Kevin (Mark Kelin) they struggle but ultimately succeed and yes, they fall in love. They are encouraged by Carol, who owns the local restaurant in town.

Carol is portrayed by Barbara Niven. She’s known for her roles on Chesapeake Shores (Megan O’Brien, SEE LINK ABOVE), in the Murder, She Baked TV movies (Delores Swensen), Cedar Cove (Peggy Beldon), One Life to Live (Liz Coleman Reynolds), and Pensacola: Wings of Gold with James Brolin (Kate), among others. Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa premieres on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, November 18 at 8 pm.
