In the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Sheepdogs,” following a deadly car explosion in the French Quarter, the NCIS team interrogates Professor Bernadine Caldwell. For years she’s been teaching the First Amendment on campus and has supported her students who organize non-violent demonstrations. When Pride (Scott Bakula) comes to campus to talk to the students, they resist at first until they learn that one of their own has died.
