If a male singer is going to win Season 15 of The Voice, the winner will likely be on Blake Shelton‘s team. Of the Top 11 artists, only four are men and three of them are on Team Blake. That includes 22-year-old country singer Kirk Jay from Montgomery, Alabama. (The other two on Team Blake are Chris Kroeze and Dave Fenley; DeAndre Nico is on Team Adam.)

For his Top 11 live performance, Kirk is singing Sam Hunt‘s most popular song “Body Like a Back Road.” Hunt says he co-wrote the song after his girlfriend Hannah Lee Fowler agreed to marry him. The song, which spent an amazing total of 34 weeks on top of the Hot Country Songs chart also peaked at number six on the US Billboard Hot 100. Some die-hard country music lovers criticized the song for a lack of country music roots (“a lazy witless song”) while others criticized the lyrics which compare a woman’s body to a back road. Some just hate it: It was #3 on Time magazine’s Top 10 Worst Songs of 2017. Luckily, for those who don’t like it, it’s only 2:40 long. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC.
