The Australian reality TV show Buying It Blind is coming to America. On the show, homeowners (usually married couples) hand over their life savings to strangers who buy houses for the couples before the couples see them. (The strangers then get busy renovating the houses to make them suit the couples.) Why would you do that? Either you don’t have the time or energy to find the “perfect” house or you can’t agree on a home with your partner. Granted, the strangers aren’t random – they’re professionals with a lot of experience. On Buying It Blind on Bravo, the three experts are: one of the top realtors in Atlanta, Anna Kilinski, contractor Jen Metzger, and designer Michel Smith Boyd, who redecorated Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton’s homes on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Realtor Anna isn’t just smart and savvy but she’s also gorgeous and will remind a lot of viewers of Hollywood movie star Jennifer Aniston. If Aniston ever had to play a happily married mother of two young kids who successfully balanced her family life with her business, and looked stunning at every turn, all she would have to do to prepare for the role is watch Anna on Buying It Blind. Buying It Blind airs Fridays at 8 pm on Bravo, right before another new reality home design show, Sweet Home.
