The Season 2 premiere of 9-1-1 focuses on the young and sexy firefighter Buck (Oliver Stack). He’s still heartbroken from the Season 1 finale when his lover Abby (Connie Britton), the 9-1-1 dispatcher, left L.A. for Ireland. Now Abby’s job is being filled by Buck’s sister, Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt, The Client List, Ghost Whisperer). On top of that, Buck faces a new competitor for the sexy firemen’s calendar — new hire, Eddie Diaz.
Firefighter Eddie Diaz is portrayed by Ryan Guzman. He’s known for his roles on Notorious (Ryan Mills), Heroes Reborn (Carlos Gutierrez), Pretty Little Liars (Jake), and in the 2015 film The Boy Next Door opposite Jennifer Lopez. Guzman plays the young neighbor who seduces JLo and then goes nuts. Guzman will appear next on the big screen in the crime drama Backtrace with Sylvester Stallone and Matthew Modine.
