Now that the qualifiers and duels are finished, it’s time for The Cut on Season 2 of World of Dance. To help prepare the acts who’ve made it, judge Jennifer Lopez brings in tap dancer Savion Glover to help mentor the dancers as they rehearse. A lot is on the line: Only the top three highest scoring acts from each division will move on to the Divisional Final. While watching the junior troupe The Lab rehearse, Lopez was moved to tears. When JLo asks what it’s about, one of the female members of The Lab says last year, she opened up to her teammates about “a tragic experience” that she went through.

On World of Dance, the brave young girl thanks her teammates for their support, “because I was so broken,” she says. Lopez tells her and the whole group, “I’m a strong believer that doing stuff like this really heals you.” Glover agrees and says, “This is your therapy. Dance it out. They cannot take that away from you.” JLo stands up and gives The Lab a group hug. World of Dance has moved to its new day and time – Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
