The Real Housewives of Atlantastar Kandi Burruss was famous before she joined the Bravo franchise in 2009 (Season 2). The singer was a member of the all-girl group Xscape and she won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song for co-writing the TLC hit song “No Scrubs.” In 2015, she got her own talk show, Kandi Koated Nights on TGITV. Now the sexy talk show is back on TV and on Bravo. Kandi’s co-hosts DJ A and Nikki Nicole are returning too! (She is not to be confused with Nikki Nicole from Black Ink Crew: Chicago.)
Nikki says Kandi “has been very instrumental in my career. She was the first person to tell me that I should be a comedienne.” And she supported Nikki’s rap career “by providing me with dope hooks.” Kandi and Nikki taped the first three episodes in New York, and they’re hoping for great ratings so they can tape more! Kandi Koated Nights airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
