On the third episode of So You Think You Can Dance Season 15, the judges make their way to New York with hopes of finding even more exceptional talent. And they do. Victoria Brooke Neukomb is the gorgeous young woman from Dade City, Florida who auditions in a pretty yellow lemon halter top and grey shorts. Her strength and flexibility are on full display. For her So You Think You Can Dance audition, Victoria performs a contemporary dance to the song “The War” by Syml (from their album In My Body.) During the performance, see below, judge Nigel Lythgoe marvels at her footwork. After the performance, judge Vanessa Hudgens says “Wow,” which has Victoria asking, “You liked it?” Vanessa laughs and calls Victoria”cute”. “I loved it!”

In the YouTube video below, Victoria talks about her decision to drop out of her public high school which launched a rigorous Cambridge program which was not for her. “I hated hated hated the campus” and she claims that she had no friends. But she’s no high school drop-out. Right before her senior year, Victoria decided not to return to her high school and to finish her high school credits online which gave her the flexibility to travel to New York to audition for SYTYCD (during the first two weeks in September). Victoria says online school was her best decision yet. And yes, she graduated in May right on time. So You Think You Can Dance airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
