In the Season 3 episode of Little Big Shots, “Little Ninja Warrior,” the ninja warrior refers to 6-year-old Lylah MacCall from Colorado. Lylah runs onto the stage wearing a Wonder Woman-inspired costume to meet host Steve Harvey. Lylah warns Harvey that if he were to try what she’s about to, on the obstacle course, he would do “a little good.” But definitely not as good as her. Harvey admits that he would probably hurt himself.
Before Lylah shows what she can do, the two hosts of NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, Matt Isemanand Akbar Gbajabiamila, make their presence known in the audience and offer to provide commentary throughout Lylah’s run. Matt says eloquently, “What’s amazing is not just seeing the athleticism of this 6-year-old girl, it’s seeing the determination. I love watching Lylah compete.” Akbar says, “She’s big time prime-time.” Little Big Shots airs Thursdays at 8pm on NBC.
