On Southern Charm, Kathryn meets Thomas’ new girlfriend Ashley. When they sit down for lunch, Kathryn admits that “This is the first time I’ve ever met one of Thomas’ girlfriends” so it’s “new territory” for her, the mother of Thomas’ two children. Ashley tells Kathryn she appreciates Kathryn wanting to meet and get to know her. “I was expecting you to be somewhat….” Ashley says with a grimace on her face.

While wearing a full-length pink coat over a black t-shirt that reads “Huge fan of space both outer and personal,” Kathryn tells Ashley that Thomas has “told me zip” about being in a serious relationship. Ashley tries to show empathy by revealing that her parents divorced when she was young. “I know what it’s like,” she says. When Ashley goes on to talk about her relationship with Thomas, Kathryn lets out a little yawn. She tries to cover her mother but when she rests her chin on her propped up hand, she lets her eyelids lower. When Ashley mentions that she met Kathryn’s children after just a week of knowing Thomas, Kathryn wakes up a little bit. That was the week of Mother’s Day, btw. Ouch. Was the yawn intentional shade? Or is just a sign of a tired mom? Southern Charm airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
