In The Chi episode “Penetrate a Fraud,” Brandon (Jason Mitchell) jeopardizes his relationship with girlfriend Jerrika (Tiffany Boone) while Emmett’s (Jacob Latimore) shoe hustle goes awry. Meanwhile young crime kingpin Trice (Tosin Morohunfola) confronts “neighborhood kingpin elder” Quentin. Quentin is sitting on the stoop, calmly reading the paper when Trice and his entourage approach the old man. (Q bought the house next to Trice’s stash house.) When Trice says he wants his dog Daenerys back, Quentin says “her name is Evangeline now.” Later Trice is heard calling Q “dead man walking.”
