Matters of the heart are raised on the second episode of The Bachelor Winter Games (February 15). While American Luke Pell says his date with Swedish Rebecca Carlson was great, Luke also says he “wants to stay open for the next day or two.” The handsome 33-year-old from Nashville, Tennessee is seen hanging out with the other Swiss Miss, 26-year-old lingerie model Nastassia Yaramchuk. When Nastassia mentions to Luke that she has had heart “health issues,” he volunteers, “I have a bad heart.”
Luke tells her the story of how when he came out of the military, he passed out and went to the hospital. While in the intensive care unit, a doctor told him “I don’t know if you’re going to make through the night.” Luke said he thought at that moment, ‘I’m going to die tonight.’ When it looks like Luke gets caught up in the life threatening memory, Nastassia leans over to give him a full-body hug. The Bachelor Winter Games airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC.
