In the Lifetime movie Christmas in Mississippi, five years have passed since a devastating hurricane hit Mississippi. To celebrate the resilience and recovery of the area, and to celebrate the holidays, the town prepares for its first holiday light show since the storm. Photographer Holly (Jana Kramer) returns to home to help and to visit with her mother Caroline (Faith Ford). While in town, Holly is forced to face her ex-boyfriend Mike (Wes Brown), who broke her heart. With a nudge from Caroline and Mr. Kriss, a jolly man who plays Kris Kringle in town, Holly gives Mike another chance.
Mr. Kriss is portrayed by Barry Bostwick. The 6’4″ tall actor is known for his roles on Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (George), Cougar Town (Roger), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Oliver Gates), Spin City with Michael J. Fox (The Mayor), and in the films Spy Hard (Norman Coleman), FDR American Badass (as FDR), and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Brad Majors – A Hero, see link above), among others. Christmas in Mississippi airs Thursday, December 21 at 8pm on Lifetime.
