In the Season 5 two-hour premiere of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., “Orientation”, Coulson (Clark Gregg), May (Ming-Na Wen) and the rest of the team are stranded on a mysterious ship in outer space. The MacGyver-like survivor and scavenger named Deke is there too.
Deke is portrayed by Jeff Ward. He’s also known for his roles on Syfy’s Channel Zero (Seth, photo below), Rosewood (Wyatt Montgomery), the TV movie Manson’s Lost Girls (as cult leader Charles Manson, see link above), and the independent film The Boy Downstairs (Marcus), among others. Ward will appear next on the big screen in the dramedy Plus One with Maya Erskine, Jack Quaid, and Ed Begley Jr. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC.
