In the Young Sheldon episode “Rockets, Communists, and the Dewey Decimal System,” 3’10” tall, 9-year-old high school student Sheldon (Iain Armitage) tries to appease his mother Mary (Zoe Perry). She’s worried that her little genius isn’t making friends at school. Sheldon goes to the library (his sanctuary) and reads Dale Carnegie’s self-help book How To Win Friends and Influence People (see link below). Sheldon tries out some of the techniques Carnegie suggests to a make a friend and it works. Sheldon brings home Tam (Ryan Phuong) for dinner.
[Dale Carnegie’s How To Win Friends and Influence People is still a bestseller!]
