On the Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars episode “Man Overboard,” the celebrity couples are blindfolded for a paddle-board race. The exercise forces the couples to “navigate the treacherous waters of communication.” When out of the water, Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and her ex-husband Javi Marroquin come to blows. Off camera, they’re heard arguing about child support. (They have one child together, Lincoln.) It seems a long way from when they showed up wearing matching necklaces.
According to WEtv, Javi is pushed to his breaking point and “jumps ship” and “checks out.” Both idioms work. Javi packs up his bag. When Love & Hip Hop’s Peter Gunz sees Javi on his way out, he says, “You can’t leave me here.” Peter says “It’s like losing a family member.” Javi’s departure doesn’t just effect Kailyn — it spells trouble for everyone in the mansion.
