In The Mayor episode “City Hall-oween,” young Mayor Courtney Rose (Brandon Micheal Hall) plans a Halloween party at City Hall. A highlight of the evening is seeing Courtney’s mother Dina (Yvette Nicole Brown) dressed up as California Congresswoman Maxine Waters. During the party, Mayor Courtney realizes it’s going to take more than throwing a party to keep kids safe. He vows to work with Police Chief Fox (with whom he butts heads) in the future.
Chief Fox is portrayed by Kristen Johnston. The 6-foot-tall comedic actress is known for her roles on Daytime Divas (Anna), The Exes (Holly Franklin), Ugly Betty (Helen), ER (Dr. Eve Peyton), and 3rd Rock from the Sun (Sally Solomon), among many others. The Mayor airs Tuesdays at 9:30pm on ABC, right after Fresh off the Boat.
