In the teen film Drink, Slay, Love, the protagonist is Pearl, a 16-year-old vampire. Things take a turn in Pearl’s nocturnal world when she discovers she can survive the sunlight. Her family tries to take advantage of her new strength by sending her to high school to get fresh blood. But the longer Pearl spends in the sun, the quicker her conscience grows. Will she be able to carry out her family’s wishes and kill the cute guy in class? The film is based on the novel of the same title by Sarah Beth Durst.
Pearl is portrayed by Cierra Ramirez. The 22-year-old actress is known for her roles on The Fosters (Mariana Adams Foster), The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Kathy), The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (Jasmine), and in the 2012 film Girl in Progress with Eva Mendes (see above), among others. Ramirez is dating actor Jeff Wittek (photo below). Drink, Slay, Love premieres on Lifetime on September 16 at 10pm, right after Ten: Murder Island.
