It’s teen horror weekend on Lifetime. And to prove it, the network is airing Ten: Murder Island, a movie about a group of kids who are lured to a remote island for an exclusive party (no parents allowed!). They think it’s abandoned, but it’s not. Turns out a dangerous predator is hunting them down, one by one. Meg is the fighter of of the group. The film is based on Gretchen McNeil’s novel, Ten, which was inspired by Agatha Christie’s murder mystery, And Then There Were None.
Meg is portrayed by China Anne McClain. The 19-year-old actress is known for her roles on Descendants 2 (Uma), K.C. Undercover (Sheena), A.N.T. Farm (Chyna Parks), Tyler Perry’s House of Payne (Jazmine Payne), and in Adam Sandler’s Grown Ups movies (as Chris Rock’s daughter Charlotte McKenzie), among others. McClain will reprise her role as Jazmine in the spin-off series The Paynes in 2018. China is the sister of Sierra Aylina McClain (Nessa on Empire). Ten: Murder Island premieres on Lifetime on September 16 at 8pm.
