On America’s Got Talent, Season 12, two little dancers Paige and Artyon performed a routine to the 1997 pop song “I’m a Barbie Girl.” It didn’t take long for judge Simon Cowell to hit his buzzer. But the rest of the judges — Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Mel B — clearly enjoyed the performance. Afterwards, Cowell told the young dancers, “I like you and think you’re talented and you have chemistry but you lack experience. And that song isn’t fun.” Regardless, the other three judges gave Paige and Artyon yeses, so they advance. Mel B promised to later play the song repeatedly in the dressing room for Simon.
This isn’t the first time Paige and Artyon have been on primetime TV. In April 2017, Paige wowed Steve Harvey and the audience of Little Big Shots with her ballet skills. In April 2016, Artyon performed an acrobatic dance routine on Little Big Shots to the David Guetta song “Without You” featuring Usher. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
