Diavolo is an acrobatic dance troupe from Los Angeles competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. Not only do the dancers move on stage, so do their architectural props including a large wooden boat-like structure that rocks back and forth as dancers dive off its deck.
For their AGT audition, the white-clad male and female dancers of Diavolo perform to a modern take of the classic song “What A Wonderful World.” All four judges — Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel — give them a standing ovation. Diavolo was founded in 1992 by French-born choreographer Jacques Heim, the man watching behind stage with Tyra Banks. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
