TSoul is one of the three artists on Team Blake who’ve made it to the Top 10 (Aliyah Moulden and Lauren Duski are the other two). While Lauren is a country singer, TSoul is not — but that didn’t stop him from singing the 1987 #1 country song by Billy Vera & The Beaters “At This Moment.” TSoul said “Last week, I didn’t know this song at all. It’s a completely new song for me so I had to learn all the words and then figure out how to sing it.” TSoul said the song came through a Facebook request, from someone he didn’t know so he put it on the list.

TSoul joked about the challenge of picking up a song in a week. “I call him Billy now like I know him because I’ve been listening to him so much.” TSoul admitted getting the lyrics down was a little challenging but the melody is “so beautiful, I connected with it instantly.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
