For his Top 10 performance on The Voice, Season 12, Hunter Plake sang Steve Winwood’s 1986 smash hit “Higher Love.” And just like he’s done in weeks past, Hunter made the song his own. After the performance, Adam Levine said Hunter succeeded in turning the song “into something that makes sense now.” He told Hunter, “You’re very connected to music. That’s obvious.” Hunter’s coach Gwen Stefani said she is “so proud.” Hunter was beaming on stage and told Gwen, “I had such a blast tonight.” It showed.
