In The Simpsons episode ‘Looking for Mr. Goodbart’, Bart gets into trouble when the school celebrates Grandparents Day. Principal Skinner tries to teach Bart a lesson by forcing him to spend the day with Skinner’s mother and some of the other grandmas in Springfield including the adventurous Phoebe.
Phoebe is voiced by Jennifer Saunders. The British comedienne is best known for her role as Edina on the TV series and films, Absolutely Fabulous. Saunders is a real-life grandmother to three grandchildren (ages 6, 4, and not yet 1). The Simpsons airs Sundays at 8pm on FOX.
