Lilli Passero is the singer on The Voice Season 12 who was serenaded by Alicia Keys. After hearing Lilli sing the 1961 Carla Thomas song “A Love on My Own” for her Blind Audition, Alicia sang her plea to Lilli to join Team Alicia (and she did). Adam Levine said from the very beginning that Lilli could win the competition so it wasn’t a big surprise that when Alicia chose Lauryn Judd (who has since been eliminated) during the Battle Round with Lilli, Adam stole Lilli. Now she’s getting ready to perform during the Live Top 12 shows which begin April 24.

One day prior to the Live shows, Lilli announced that she’s been “sick with a mystery illness” but that she’s “also remained aware of how much worse it could’ve been as well as the blessing in disguise that is it’s making me stronger.” She promises her fans, “I’ll see you tomorrow. No matter what happens, I promise we’re gonna have so much fun.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
