On the Teen Mom 2 episode ‘Last to Know’, while Jenelle Evans finally admits that she’s pregnant (to her mother Barbara and kids Jace and Kaiser), Leah Messer and her daughters take a vacation in California. “I think Ali’s been doing pretty good on this trip,” says Leah’s friend Maddy. Leah says she’s been trying to get Ali to use her wheelchair as much as possible. But if she doesn’t want to use it, “I’m not going to tell her, ‘no, you can’t walk.’” That said, Leah admits that Ali, “Overdoes it.” She adds, ‘I can’t allow her to push herself too far.” Ali was diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy years ago.

Leah explains to Maddy that the doctors told Leah that when Ali turns seven, “We might see a lot of declines in her” — in mobility and things like that.” Ali’s going to turn 7 in December. Maddy asks, “Do you think she’s starting to decline?” Leah says if Ali does decline she probably won’t be able to see it. Maddy starts crying which makes Leah cry. They both agree that Ali is one strong little girl. Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
