In the Season 5 premiere episode of L.A. Hair, ‘The Kimpire Strikes Back,’ while salon owner Kimberly Kimble auditions stylists for her shop (she’s looking to hire 5 new employees), Jonathan Antin gets a visit from his wife Sescie and his two children. When Jonathan’s 8-year-old daughter Josie walks into the salon with her long dark hair in a top bun, he says she’s his most difficult client. “She’s more difficult than Giselle,” says Jonathan.
While Jonathan cuts, Josie tells him: “Don’t cut it short. I don’t want it short.” She reminds him, “Last time you cut it too short.” In the end, Josie seems pleased with the cut and thanks her father. If only all his clients were so appreciative. But then there wouldn’t be a show! L.A. Hair airs Thursdays at 9pm on WEtv.
