On the Duck Dynasty episode ‘Carpnado,’ after the Robinson men go fishing for Jumping Asian Carp which is “invading” Monroe’s waters and is a serious threat to American ecosystems, Willie and Si try to manage Willie’s Duck Diner for one day. Since taping the episode, Willie’s Duck Diner has closed.
The website says: “The diner will reopen soon with a new menu and new Robertson Family Recipes” but as of January 18, the restaurant is still closed. The Willie’s Duck Diner menu included Sadie’s Bacon & Cheese Fries ($7.95); Ms. Kay’s Meatloaf ($12.95); Jase’s Frog Legs ($15.95); and Phil’s Swamp Catch (duck strips, gator, shrimp and crawfish) for $14.95, among others. Duck Dynasty airs Wednesdays at 9pm on A&E.
