The protagonist of the TV movie Inspired to Kill is Kara. After losing the love of her life in a tragic car accident, the beautiful young woman tries to start over in Los Angeles. An aspiring writer, Kara falls for an older man, crime novelist Paul Reese (Antonio Sabato, Jr.). When Kara connects the dots – that Paul is killing people who have crossed Kara in the past – she tries to stop the mad man.
Kara is portrayed by Karissa Lee Staples. She’s known for her roles on Lifetime’s The Lottery (Perry Sommers), Necessary Roughness (Paloma), and What’s Up Warthogs! (Victoria), among others. Fun fact about Staples: She was crowned Miss Maine (2006) one week before graduating high school. Inspired to Kill premieres on LMN on Sunday, November 13 at 8pm.
