On the Superstore episode ‘Seasonal Help’, while Glenn (Mark McKinney) tries to find the perfect person to play Santa at the store. It’s Black Friday and many Cloud 9 employees have called in sick with food poisoning. In a pinch, several seasonal employees are hired to help over the holidays including Amy’s (America Ferrera) husband Adam. To add more twist to the plot, Amy thinks she’s nauseated not from food poisoning but from morning sickness.
Adam is portrayed by Ryan Gaul. The Groundlings improv comedian is known for his roles on House of Lies (Will) and in the 2013 movie Identity Thief with Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy (as the Bartender). He’s currently starring in the Seeso comedy Bajillion Dollar Propertie$ (see below). Superstore airs Thursdays at 8pm on NBC.
