On the Teen Mom OG episode ‘The Ties That Bind’, Amber Portwood and her fiance Matt Baier welcome Matt’s adult son Christopher Baier into their new home. Matt shows Christopher his room, “It’s got everything you need – bed, TV, cable.” Christopher, who has recently struggled with his sobriety, says he’s grateful. In Christopher’s new room, Matt lays down the house rules: “You’re an adult you can do what you please but remember: no drugs, no drinking in the house, and stuff like that.” He says, “You know, we can’t be around that either.”
Amber adds, “And you have to make the decision if you’re staying here 100 percent that you’re going to stay sober. That’s your decision in the end.” Matt jumps back in, “This is not a revolving door. We’re not here for a vacation, we’re here to help you but we’re not going to enable you in any way.” Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
