In the Little People, Big World Season 16 premiere episode ‘Gonna Be a Long Road’, Matt Roloff is in the hospital having surgery on his spine. That leaves his ex-wife Amy Roloff to run the farm. She’s not in good spirits. She breaks the news to her son Zach that “It’s official. Camerino‘s got to go.” Camerino Gonzalez-Sanchez is the primary caretaker on the Roloff Family Farm. The Roloffs had contacted a lawyer to look into Camerino’s case but as Amy reports, “He’s got to get deported.” Camerino crossed the border 24 years ago and has been working with the Roloffs for the past 17 years.

Amy and Zach agree that the news is “devastating” not just for their family and the farm but for his family. They don’t know what’s going to happen to Camerino’s children (he has two daughters). Amy says she just can’t imagine having to leave a child. Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays at 8pm on TLC.
