In the Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode ‘Skyfire Cycle’, while Gina (Chelsea Peretti) tries to dictate the location of the next family vacation and Amy (Melissa Fumero) upsets Holt (Andre Braugher) over a math puzzle, Jake (Adam Samberg) and Terry (Terry Crews) try to protect a man who’s receiving death threats. The man is Terry’s lifelong hero, famous author DC Parlov.
DC Parlov is portrayed by Fred Melamed. He’s known for his roles on Hulu’s Casual (Charle Cole), Netflix’s Lady Dynamite (Bruce Ben-Bacharach), New Girl (J. Cronkite Valley-Forge), House of Lies (Harvey Oberholt), and The Good Wife (Judge Alan Karpman), among many others. Melamed is also recognized for his voice and his role as movie trailer voice-over pro Sam in the comedy film In a World… (as Lake Bell’s father). Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
