In the new TV series Pitch, Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury) is a talented pitcher who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball. When she joins the San Diego Padres, her tough as nails agent Amelia Slater is by her side. Amelia’s first run-in with the Padres coach “Skip” (Dan Lauria) doesn’t go well.
Amelia Slater is portrayed by Ali Larter. She’s known for her TV roles on Legends (Crystal) and Heroes (Tracy Strauss). Larter is also recognized for her roles in the Resident Evil films (Claire Redfield), the Final Destination films (Clear River), Legal Blonde (Brooke Taylor Windham), and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Chrissy), among others. Pitch airs Thursdays at 9pm on FOX.
