During the last season of the Real Housewives of New York City, Dorinda Medley and Carole Radziwill bonded during a trip to London. Both women are widows. Dorinda lost her husband Richard Medley in 2011. Carole lost her husband Anthony Radziwill in 1999. (Neither one has remarried.) But this season, Dorinda said she was very hurt when she heard Carole talking about Dorinda’s late husband with Bethenny Frankel.
On the Real Housewives of New York reunion, Dorinda said Carole “went on a rampage of mean girl” about her house. Dorinda’s referring to her house in the Berkshires where she keeps many objects which belonged to her late husband Richard. At the reunion Dorinda addresses Carole: “You referred to my late husband as being a ghost there.” Dorinda adds: “I would never say anything about your late husband.” Carole tried to explain (that the ghost reference was taken out of context) and she did apologize to Dorinda but that didn’t satisfy Dorinda. “I called Jules crying,” Dorinda admits. When Andy Cohen asks Dorinda, “Why didn’t you call her (Carole)?” Dorinda says, “Because I couldn’t believe it.” The Real Housewives of New York airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
