In the Real Housewives of New Jersey episode “A Very Hairy Christmas,” Teresa Giudice who was recently released from prison reunites with her co-star sister-in-law Melissa Gorga at a family holiday dinner. Being in the holiday spirit, Teresa decides to call Jacqueline Laurita. They weren’t on the best terms before Teresa went to jail. “It’s a new year, new beginnings…” says Teresa. Jacqueline says, “I like that.” But the conversation turns when Teresa hears her family (her cousins Kathy and Rosie) wishing her a happy new year. Unbeknownst to Teresa, Jacqueline has her on speaker phone. “Do you usually put your phonecalls on speaker?” asks Teresa, who btw has Jacqueline on speaker so her friend Dolores can listen in.

After the awkward conversation, Teresa admits the call “caught me a little off guard because I felt like I didn’t call Jacqueline, I called my cousins.” Teresa isn’t on good terms with her cousins either. Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
