In the TV movie October Kiss, protagonist Poppy Summerall has some serious commitment issues. She can’t settle on a job, a man, you name it. When a friend suggests that she try being a nanny – because she’s good with kids – she finds herself committed to the job and Ryan (Sam Jaeger) — the handsome, widowed father of the two children she’s in charge of.
Poppy is portrayed by Ashley Williams. She’s known for her roles on How I Met Your Mother (Victoria), Warehouse 13 (Sally), Saving Grace (Amanda), Huff (Alyssa), Good Morning, Miami (Dylan), and As the World Turns (Dani Andropoulos). Williams is currently starring on The Jim Gaffigan Show (as Jim’s wife Jeannie). October Kiss will air on Hallmark on April 3 at 7pm. It will air again on April 16 at 5pm.
