In the three-part series Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned, Doctor Gemma Foster (Suranne Jones) confronts her husband Simon. She suspects he’s having an affair. When asked point blank, he says no, but Gemma doesn’t believe him. She launches an investigation of her own and what she discovers will not be pleasant.
Simon is portrayed by Bertie Carvel. The Englishman is known for his roles on Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell (Jonathan Strange), Babylon (Finn), Hidden (Alexander Wentworth), Bombshell (Lieutenant Roddy Frost), and in the 2012 film Les Misérables (Bamatabois). Part 1 of 3 of Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned will premiere on Lifetime on Sunday, April 10 at 9pm. Part 2 will air Sunday, April 17 at 9pm, and Part 3 will air Sunday, April 24 at 9pm.
