The Little Big Shots episode “Little Piece of Heavenly” features a five-year-old performer named Heavenly Joy Jerkins. Wearing two giant red ribbons in her hair, a tweed vest and a pair of blue velvet pants, Heavenly sings and taps to the song “That’s The Story of Love.” And she does so with gorgeous heartwarming aplomb.
Heavenly isn’t just adorable and talented, she’s also fiery. Her new single “War” featuring gospel singer Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago is available on iTunes. The Jerkins/Jenkins combo is dynamite. There’s also a video (see below) that features Heavenly as a boxer fighting off Satan “who watches when you pray.” Hard not to fall for a kid who looks adorable even while she’s battling the devil. Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 8pm on NBC.
