On the Supernatural episode “Safe House,” when a dangerous creature is accidentally released into an old house it attacks a mother and her child. Both are left in a coma. When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover that hunters Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver) and Rufus Turner once tracked down the same creature, “they look to the past to come up with a plan to catch the monster before anyone dies.”
It’s been five years since we’ve seen Rufus on Supernatural. Rufus is portrayed by Steven Williams. The versatile veteran actor has appeared on so many TV shows it’s difficult to narrow it down, but here’s a top 6 list: Minority Report (Bridge Kane), The Leftovers (Virgil), The Bernie Mac Show (Lloyd), The X-Files (Mr. X), LA Heat (Det. August Brooks), and 21 Jump Street (Captain Adam Fuller). Williams has also appeared in dozen of movies from The Blues Brothers (Trooper Mount) to his latest The Trust with Nicolas Cage, Elijah Wood, and Jerry Lewis. (You read that right; it’s coming out in May 2016.) Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CW.
