On the series premiere of The Catch, we meet a beautiful, successful woman named Alice Vaughan who’s in love. Her fiance Christopher Hall (aka Benjamin Jones) has just asked her to elope…to get on a plane and fly to the Alps for a romantic getaway. Alice’s co-workers (Alice is a private investigator) can’t believe she didn’t say yes right away. They convince her to go home and pack. When she does, she discovers that her house has been cleaned out by her conman man. Now their relationship has become a game of cat and mouse.
Alice is portrayed by Mireille Enos. She’s known for her roles on The Killing (Sarah Linden), Big Love (JoDean Marquart), and in the films World War Z opposite Brad Pitt (Karin Lane), Atom Egoyan’s Devil’s Knot with Reese Witherspoon, and Gangster Squad with Josh Brolin (Connie, Brolin’s wife). Enos will reprise her role as Karin in the World War Z sequel (2017). The Catch airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC.
