30-year-old actress and author Talulah Riley is in the news because she and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk can’t decide whether to stay married. Well, she’s actually in the news because she’s decided they shouldn’t — the actress has filed for divorce from Musk again. Riley is no trophy wife, in the old school sense. Though younger than Musk and conspicuously beautiful, Riley is an intellectual and an artist — a sort of STEAM prototype. (STEAM is a takeoff on STEM learning; STEAM adds the Arts to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.)
Riley will sometimes toss out some very Silicon Valley data-heavy statements like this:
Additional non-subjective data points could be included in a rating to reduce impact of social bias. https://t.co/t3Xl9gBvex

And she can function as a de facto literary/cultural critic — or at least literary/cultural evangelist — when she recommends great thought pieces like that by the New Yorker‘s Jill Lepore:
Brilliant piece by Jill Lepore, on truth and taking responsibility for one’s own beliefs: https://t.co/Oo1T8Fh2hS

But Riley’s highest achievement — and that includes her acting roles in such movies as
Pride and Prejudice and Inception — is the forthcoming publication of her first book: ACTS OF LOVE. The novel is described as “bold and powerful modern love story.” It’s from a woman who has seen a lot and is careful with her prose. Expect great things.
Very Important Reading: #actsoflove. Powerful words by @TalulahRiley; beautiful proof by @NaomiBerwin @HodderBooks pic.twitter.com/RVp6fb0Fn2
