On the Real Housewives of Potomac, Charrisse Jackson Jordan throws herself a birthday party. At the party, when Robyn Dixon sees Ashley Darby’s husband Michael playfully grabbing the butt of Katie Rost’s boyfriend Andrew on the dance floor, she says to Ashley and Katie: “Is that a white guy thing?” (Michael and Andrew are white.) Katie accuses Robyn and Gizelle Bryant of being “the most racial obsessed people I know.” When Katie points out to Robyn and Gizelle that they’re biracial, both women deny it.
“You need to have your geneology checked,” says Katie, lifting a long, straight blond lock of Gizelle’s hair. “You don’t end up looking like this if you’re straight out of Africa.” Afterwards, Gizelle says, “Katie has absolutely no idea what she’s talking about. It’s just wrong, and stupid.” Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
