Maze Runner: The Death Cure sounded too close to the bone for fans upon hearing that Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien had been injured on the set in Vancouver. O’Brien, 24, is the dynamic force behind the popular film series, which found audiences hungry for its first two installments: The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
Maze Runner author James Dashner let concerned fans know that while O’Brien was hurt, his injuries are “not life threatening in any way.” And coming from Dashner — who knows a bit about danger — the assessment cheered fans. Still rumors that O’Brien’s face took a hit left some worried that while his life may not be threatened, O’Brien’s handsome face might not be quite the same.
I just want to let everyone know that yes, Dylan was hurt, but that he’s going to be okay. Not life threatening in any way.
