Jennifer Garner is on the cover of the March 2016 issue of Vanity Fair. She gave an exclusive interview to the magazine — Garner talks about her divorce from Ben Affleck, her career and her three children (Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Sam, 4). In 2015, one day after their tenth wedding anniversary, Garner and Affleck announced their plan to divorce. There were reports that Affleck had an affair with the nanny, which Affleck denies. During the interview Garner discusses some of her pain and disappointment. “Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding,” says Garner. “But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you’re going to be friends with that person.”
Garner also discusses her career. Her next film is Miracles from Heaven. Garner plays a mother whose daughter is sick with a life-threatening disease. Somehow, miraculously, the little girl recovers from the disease after a fall from a tree that could have killed her. The film is based on Christy Wilson Beam’s memoir: Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and Her Amazing Story of Healing.
