The Shannara Chronicles is the new MTV series based on the epic trilogy of fantasy novels written by Terry Brooks. Thousands of years after the fall of humankind, it’s up to three “people”, to save what’s left of Four Lands. There’s teenage Elvin princess Amberle (Poppy Drayton), human Rover Eretria (Ivana Baquero), and the one Eretria is obsessed with: Wil Ohmsford. He’s mostly human, with an eighth of Elf in him.

Wil is portrayed by Austin Butler. He’s best known for his roles on Arrow (Chase), The Carrie Diaries (Sebastian Kydd), Switched at Birth (Wilke), Life Unexpected (Jones), Zoey 101 (James Garett), Ruby and the Rockits (Jordan Gallagher), and Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide (Zippy Brewster). The Shannara Chronicles airs Tuesdays at 10pm on MTV.
