In the Dr. Ken episode “D.K. and the Dishwasher,” Ken (Ken Jeong) gets a surprise visit from his father, D.K. Park. D.K. starts fixing things around the house — things that Ken has been avoiding — and goes so far as to buy a new dishwasher. In response, Ken intentionally breaks the dishwasher.
D.K is portrayed by Dana Lee. The Chinese-born actor is recognized for his roles in a variety of films including Pineapple Express (Cheung) and Rambo: First Blood Part II (Captain Kinh). The veteran actor has appeared on several TV shows from Baretta and Starsky and Hutch to, more recently, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Brothers & Sisters. Fun fact about Lee: One of his first recurring roles was as Minister Han Li Su on the nighttime soap opera Dynasty (1985-1987). Dr. Ken airs on Fridays at 8:30pm on ABC.
