On The Good Wife episode “Restraint”, in order to keep an important client Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) work with lawyer Ethan Carver (Peter Gallagher) to defend a pro-life case. As a politically active pro-choice liberal, Diane is conflicted. Her pro-choice friends including Bea Wilson approach Diane and call the case that she’s defending “an orchestrated, right wing war on women.” Will Diane intentionally or unintentionally sabotage the lawsuit she’s been hired to win?
